Give It a try

It's my first day around here. I found a post in a blog and found it interesting.
I don't really know what's the aim of this site, though I've read Brian's idea and he seems so enthusiasthic that I've decided to give it a try. It may be worth.
As you can read in my goals, I'd like to work in a research group. It has been my dream since I decided to postpone my orchestra conductor studies. I've always liked chemistry. I think the main reason is that I need to understand why things happen, and why do they have a determinate shape or behaviour and not another or just freely change at their own will, ...
- "WHAT'S THE PURPOSE?" NO, I don't think there's a purpose for everything, I just need to know "how" or "why", but not "what for". The cause, not the purpose.
Another goal I might achieve when I stop behaving so childish as I've always done is to do what matters at each moment. I seem to have a strange predilection for mixing priorities. I know what I should do, however I always do something else. It may sound strange after reading the paragraph above, but both goals are directly linked. I like learning new things, but I never manage to study them. Some may call it laziness, personally I think will-weak (or something similar, my english isn't as good as I'd like) would suit better to my situation.
I think that's pretty enough for the first day. I'll just look a little bit more around the site.
If anyone reads this blog, please, feel free to post a comment, It'll help me to keep up posting.
